北京中医药大学针灸学院成立于1982年，是国内最早的针灸推拿院系之一。针灸学院师资力量雄厚，教学科研水平高，是北京中医药大学的主要教学科研实体及国际交流的窗口，承担着国内国际高级针灸推拿人才的培养及学术交流的任务。学院现有教职工61人，其中博士导师9人，硕士导师20人。本科及研究生总数1193人。现为国家教育部针灸学重点学科、中国针灸学会腧穴分会、中国针灸学会耳穴诊治专业委员会、世界中医药联合会针刀医学专业委员会、中华中医学会针刀医学专业委员会的学术团体的挂靠单位。

　　1982年，北京中医药大学针灸学院前身，针灸推拿系成立；

　　2000年，北京中医药大学针灸推拿系与前针灸骨伤学院针灸系合并，成立北京中医药大学针灸学院；

　　2002年，北京中医药大学针灸学科成为国家中医药管理局重点学科建设单位；

　　2007年，北京中医药大学针灸学科成为国家教育部重点学科；

　　2007年，北京中医药大学针灸推拿专业在“中国大学医学本科A＋＋排名学校”排行榜中名列首位。

　　School of Acupuncture and Moxibustion， BUCM

　　School of Acupuncture and Moxibustion of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine （BUCM）， originally the Department of Acu－moxibustion and Tuina， was founded in 1982． It is one of the earliest departments of acu－moxibustion and tuina in China． As a major teaching and research body and the window of the international exchange of BUCM， School of Acupuncture and Moxibustion possesses of rich teaching and scientific researching resources， and conducts mainly the tasks of high education， research and international exchange in acu－moxibustion and tuia． There are 61 people of the staff and 1193 undergraduate and postgraduate students． It has been nominated as one of the Key subjects of acu－moxibustion and tuina of the National Educational Ministry． It is the sponsor of some international and national level academic organizations including the Board of Acu－points of the China Association of Acupuncture and Moxibustion， Board of Auricular Acupuncture of the China Association of Acupuncture and Moxibustion， Board of Acupotomology of the World Federation of Traditional Chinese Medicine， and the Board of Acupotomology of the China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine．

　　In 1982， the original body of School of Acupuncture and Moxibustion， the Department of Acu－moxibustion and Tuina was founded；

　　In 2000， the Department of Acu－moxibustion and Tuina of BUCM merged with Department of Acupuncture and moxibustion of the Beijing College of Acu－moxibustion and Orthopedics， the new School of Acupuncture and Moxibustion came into existence；

　　In 2002， the curriculum of acupuncture and moxibustion in BUCM was listed as one of the key subject constructing units by the State Administrative Bureau；

　　In 2007， the curriculum of acupuncture and moxibustion in BUCM was listed as one of the key subjects of the National Educational Ministry；

　　In 2007， the major of acu－moxibustion and tuina was listed as No． One among the same major among the universities cross China by the A＋＋ Evaluation Organization．
